Company Profiles
A company profile is the single source of truth for one company — pulled up from a list, a project, Your Companies, or a SourceAI search result.
Header
| Element | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Connection status | Your personal outreach status with this company — Not contacted, Pending, Sent, or Connected. Click to change it manually. |
| Quick links | Website, LinkedIn, and Crunchbase, plus a verified-contact icon if a decision-maker contact has been confirmed. |
| Updated | When this profile’s data was last refreshed. |
| Contact | Starts outreach to this single company — see Outreach below. |
| Copy link / Add to list | Share the profile directly, or add the company to one of your lists. |
| Firmographics row | Sector, HQ country, employee count, funding raised, and Enterprise Readiness Index (ERI) score. |
Tabs
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Overview | Description, funding, patents, ERI, similar companies — see below. |
| Notes | Internal notes your team has added about this company. |
| Contacts | People at the company. Add contacts you already know yourself, or request an introduction and GlassDollar adds the resulting contact for you. Mark one contact as primary. |
| Information submissions | Data the company itself has submitted (e.g. via a Public List application). |
| Documents | Files uploaded against this company — NDAs, decks, PoC docs. |
Notes are visible across every project and team that touches this company — so keep them company-specific (e.g. “prefers quarterly check-ins,” “already tried a competing tool”), not project-specific. Project-specific context belongs in that project’s own notes/comments, not here.
Overview sections
- About — an AI-generated description of what the company does.
- Funding & Investors — funding rounds and investors, sourced from PitchBook and refreshed monthly (shows “No funding or investor data found” if none is public).
- Patents — patent search results (e.g. via EPO), with the source and search date shown for transparency.
- Enterprise Readiness Index (ERI) — a certifications-based maturity score (out of 5), checked live against public sources.
- Similar companies — other companies in the same space, for quick comparison or alternatives.
You can also flag incorrect data directly from the profile via “Something off? Let us know.”
Outreach
Outreach is how you initiate contact with a company. It can be triggered two ways:
Single — from a company profile. Click Contact in the header, or Request introduction from the Contacts tab if no contact is saved yet, to open the Request Introduction form:
- Reason for outreach — pick the specific topic driving the request: Schedule meeting, Organise demo, Collect information, Request offer, Meet at event, or Other.
- Linked project (optional) — tie the request to a project if it’s part of one.
- Additional context — a short brief on what you need and why this company fits (required).
- Calendar link (optional) — share your availability directly.
GlassDollar reaches out to the company on your behalf and facilitates a warm intro by email, typically within a few days. Once connected, the contact is added to that company’s Contacts tab automatically, and the request is saved as a follow-up you can track.
Bulk — from a list or a project. Select multiple companies at once — in a standalone list, a list attached to a project, or directly within a project’s company view — and connect with all of them in one action, instead of opening each profile individually.
Either way, every request is logged and tracked in Your Companies → Connection requests, scoped to you, so you can follow up and see the full history of the relationship.
