On day one — follow these steps in order for the fastest start.

Welcome to GlassDollar

— the venture-clienting platform that helps your organization collect innovation needs, find startup partners, and run structured proof-of-concept (PoC) projects.

Goal: by the end of this guide, you’ll know how to search with SourceAI, have created your first list, and shared it with a BU stakeholder.

Logging in

  1. You’ll receive an invite email from GlassDollar. Click the link to set your password.
  2. Sign in at your organization’s GlassDollar URL. You’ll find this URL in your invite email, or your account manager can share it with you.
  3. You’ll land on the Home screen — your overview of projects, tasks, and activity.

Step 1 — Discover solutions with SourceAI

Describe your problem in plain language — SourceAI turns it into matching startups in seconds.

  1. From Home, use Quick Actions, click SourceAI in the menu, or use the quick search bar at the top — a few keywords are enough to start, or paste full text.
  2. Add 2–5 criteria and set filters. Filters narrow down your search results.
  3. Choose your result format: Benchmark (ranked comparison, best for vendor selection) or Landscape (market map, best for exploring a new field).
  4. Go through the results — select the startups you like and add them to a list.

Step 2 — Create your first list

This is your workspace for shortlisting, evaluating, and organizing the startups you selected.

  1. Open your list.
  2. Set a team on your list, if relevant, and add tags.
  3. Give your list a description.
  4. Adapt the solution matrix to your wishes — add columns, add context, and reorder startups.

Your list stays Standalone until you decide to attach it to a project — you don’t need a project yet.

Step 3 — Share your list with a BU stakeholder

Sharing turns your shortlist into a conversation — the fastest way to get stakeholder buy-in.

  1. In your list, click Share in the top right corner.
  2. Add an existing stakeholder, or create a new one right from the share dialog — or just copy the share link instead.
  3. Click Done.
